Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of WarHQ, a desktop utility for managing Wargame Design Studio game launches, local PBEM files, optional mail integration, and optional WarMatch multiplayer features.

You may use WarHQ to manage your own game library, local files, PBEM workflows, and WarMatch multiplayer activity. You are responsible for the content you create, import, upload, download, or send through WarHQ.

WarHQ can connect to Gmail or Microsoft mail providers through OAuth if you choose to enable that feature. Mail integration is used to scan recent inbox messages for PBEM turn attachments and create outgoing draft messages with PBEM turn files attached.

WarHQ does not send mail automatically. You are responsible for reviewing and sending any draft message created by WarHQ.

You may revoke WarHQ’s mail access at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings.

If you use WarMatch cloud features, you agree not to upload unlawful, abusive, malicious, or unrelated content. WarMatch features are intended for turn exchange, match coordination, chat, and related multiplayer workflows.

WarHQ may remove content or restrict access if needed to protect the service, other users, or legal compliance.

WarHQ may interact with third-party services such as Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Azure, and Wargame Design Studio software installed on your computer. Your use of those services and software is also governed by their own terms and policies.

WarHQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wargame Design Studio, Google, or Microsoft unless otherwise stated.

WarHQ is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. WarHQ may contain bugs, service interruptions, or compatibility issues. You are responsible for backing up important game files and verifying any mail drafts before sending them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WarHQ’s maintainers are not liable for lost data, lost turns, missed messages, game issues, service outages, or other damages arising from your use of WarHQ.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of WarHQ after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

For questions about these terms, contact the WarHQ maintainer through the project repository or support channel listed on the WarHQ homepage.
